The Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation will provide “anchor funding” for the Creative Bridge effort to bring The Rhythmic Arts Program to Lanterman High School in West Los Angeles. The Rhythmic Arts Program is a percussion based educational program that helps kids with special needs address basic life-skills such as turn taking, spatial awareness, adding/subtracting, memory focus and visual and auditory perception.
Creative Bridge Coalition is a non-profit organization with a mission to bring music-based programs to young children and those with special needs.
“Without support from the Maize Foundation, we could not have brought this great Rhythmic Arts Program opportunity to these very deserving kids” stated Creative Bridge’s Bill Bodine. “The Maize Foundation will change these lives forever”.
