Richard Maize, also known as Richie Maize, is a Los Angeles based investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is passionate about creating poitive change throughout the Los Angeles area and beyond.

Richard Maize currently co-leads the Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation, which he and his wife founded as a means of giving back to their community. A successful entrepreneur and real estate investor, he has consistently given his time and expertise to help others achieve their own successes. Through their foundation, Richard Maize and his wife focus on funding cultural and arts programs, health initiatives, environmental stewardship, and other causes that support youth development, education, and mentoring.

The foundation works closely with leaders of numerous charitable and community-building organizations to identify high-impact funding needs. The American Cancer Society, the Los Angeles Police Foundation, Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors are among the regular beneficiaries of the foundation’s support.

Local, national, and international philanthropic efforts led by the Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation have helped communities rebuild in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and have benefited unhoused people in Southern California.

In addition, the foundation’s activities include regularly scheduled clothing drives that focus on making sure people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles have access to clean clothing suitable for seasonal wear and professional attire for job interviews.

Under the direction of Richard Maize and his wife, the foundation partnered with the Friends of Sheba Medical Center’s annual gala to raise more than $650,000 to benefit Sheba Medical Center, the largest hospital in Israel. This institution received a 2019 Newsweek ranking as one of the 10 best hospitals in the world.

Richard Maize created a portfolio of some 1,000 rental apartment units before he was 30, then founded and developed one of the most successful mortgage banking firms in the U.S. before liquidating it. He is now an investor in several other business ventures. He resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife and two daughters.

Rochelle Maize is one of Bevery Hills top producing real estate agents, boasting over $3.5 Billion in sales. Rochelle values giving back to her community. She currently serves on the Board of Friends of Greystone and actively donates time, money, and resources to the Jewish Federation, Give Back Homes, Creative Bridge Coalition and many more. In 2005, Rochelle was also proud to co-found Green Youth Movement (GYM) with her daughter, Ally.
